Since the implementation of Led Public lighting, the development of LED public lighting has continued to rise, and many urban roads have used LED public lighting. LED public lighting uses less electricity and consumes less energy than traditional lighting. Different from traditional lighting, LED public lighting belongs to energy-saving lighting. A typical 20W LED street light is equivalent to more than 300W equipment of a typical high-pressure sodium light. In terms of electricity consumption under the same conditions, LED public lighting uses only one-third of that of a typical incandescent light.
If LED public lighting is installed, the electricity cost saved in a year will be nearly 2 million, which will be several million less than the original electricity consumption. It will reduce a lot of pressure on the energy conservation and emission reduction of the whole city. Therefore, the government’s emphasis on LED public lighting and its strong policy support have certain theoretical support and can replace the application of traditional lighting.
